PROCEDURE FOR COMING INTO MY OFFICE IN-PERSON OR BY PHONE

1. Call my office at (303) 300-4502.

2. Leave a message, telling me your name and good times to call you back.  I will usually call you within a few hours.  If I do not, please call again.

3. In the initial phone interview, we will talk about what your issues are, I'll tell you if I think I can help you, we'll discuss fees, and make an appointment if appropriate.

4. I will make a commitment to be in my office at the appointed time, and I expect you to meet me there.  Since both of our times are valuable, I have a 36-hour cancellation policy.  So if I do not hear from you 36 or more hours before the session, you are charged for my time.

5. You are entitled to total confidentiality.  The only times I cannot completely agree to this are when I think someone's life is in danger, or when there is need to report child or elder abuse.  But other than that, since I do not take assignment for insurance, (believing such to be truly limiting to psychotherapy) you have confidentiality.
